National Charity League invites NAPO-DFW
to Teach Organizational Skills!
The National Charity League, an organization for mothers and daughters to volunteer together in their community, recently invited Terri Cox (Organized by Terri), Michelle Earney (Unhurried Life), and Stacey Phillips (Organize This Space!) to teach organizational skills to their students.

With about twenty junior-high girls in attendance, Stacey shared tips and products with the girls and their mothers for better organization in the bedroom and closet, and shared time-saving tips for the morning routine. Michelle then taught a few tricks for keeping their backpacks, lockers, important papers, and photos in order and under control during the school year. Terri wrapped up the meeting with time and calendar management principles, stressing the importance of having a central location for parents and kids to transfer information to eliminate misunderstandings and last-minute emergencies.

The girls ended the meeting by creating a “top ten” list of their favorite new tips. All in all it was a great time for organizer and student to instill new ideas for keeping families one step ahead during the school year!
